The Organisation

Airservices Australia is a government owned organisation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry. 

Each year we manage over four million aircraft movements carrying more than 156 million passengers, and provide air navigation services across 11 per cent of the world’s airspace. 

Airservices Australia has two major operating centres in Melbourne and Brisbane and a corporate office in Canberra. We operate 29 air traffic control towers at international and regional airports, and provide aviation rescue firefighting services at 27 Australian Airports.

The Role

As the Workforce Planning Analyst, you will support workforce planning activities and reporting for Airservices Australia. On a day-to-day basis you will be involved with data analysis and reporting of key workforce metrics, staff movements and transfer activities, recruitment and location assessments, liaison and collaboration with operational staff and key stakeholders. You will also support the development of workforce planning solutions, frameworks, policies and processes.

The Person

This is a unique and fantastic opportunity for a workforce planning professional seeking a full-time opportunity. In this role you will draw on your strong workforce planning knowledge and experience gained from working within a large organisation. You will be able to demonstrate advanced data modelling experience (i.e. advanced MS Excel, Cognos Analytics) and naturally look for opportunities to continuously improve.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

  • Workforce planning experience (including transactional and advisory experience) providing sound advice and solutions across full range of workforce planning matters
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with complex data models (i.e. MS Excel skills, Cognos Analytics)
  • The ability to effectively communicate analysis and insights to senior stakeholders to support strategic decision making
