The Role & The Team
Reporting to the Enterprise Applications and Data Analytics Manager, you will lead a team of 8-12 technical specialists responsible for the support, operation and continuous improvement of more than 70 corporate applications and technology platforms. These services underpin critical business functions across Airservices and include cloud, data, integration and enterprise business systems.
This role combines people leadership, service ownership and commercial accountability. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to align technology services with organisational priorities while managing a significant portfolio of vendor contracts, platform budgets and supplier relationships.
As part of maintaining operational continuity, the successful candidate may be required to undertake occasional after-hours work to support the resolution of major incidents and critical service disruptions.

The Person
We're looking for a people-focused technology leader who can build strong stakeholder relationships, lead high-performing teams and deliver reliable, business-critical technology services.
You'll bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience leading technical teams in application support, platform operations or technology service delivery.
- Proven success managing 24/7 technology environments within complex organisations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to act as a trusted technology advisor.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, service providers and technology roadmaps.
- A solid technical foundation across enterprise applications, cloud platforms and modern technology practices.
- Strong IT service management and incident management experience, ideally within an ITIL environment.
- Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during major incidents and high-pressure situations.
- Experience in aviation, safety-critical or highly regulated environments is desirable.
