Summary

As a Senior Commercial Advisor within the OneSKY Program, you'll play a critical role in managing complex commercial arrangements, supplier relationships and contract outcomes that support the delivery of next-generation air traffic management capabilities across Australia. Working alongside Airservices Australia and Department of Defence stakeholders, you'll influence major commercial decisions, manage strategic supplier relationships, and help deliver value-for-money outcomes that support the future of the National Airspace System.

The Role & The Team

Reporting to the OneSKY Commercial & Legal Manager, you will provide commercial leadership and contract management support across the Airservices Defence OneSKY Towers (ADOT) Program and related OneSKY initiatives. Working as part of a joint Airservices and Defence team, you will advise on procurement, contract management, supplier performance, commercial risk and strategic negotiations.

You will help ensure that commercial arrangements deliver value for money, support operational outcomes and align with Commonwealth procurement principles and Airservices governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide commercial advice and contract management support across the ADOT Program and associated contracts.

- Lead procurement activities, commercial negotiations and contract change processes.

- Manage supplier relationships and performance to achieve program outcomes.

- Develop and maintain contract management plans and commercial governance processes.

- Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Defence representatives and external suppliers.

- Support commercial assurance activities and contract compliance across the OneSKY Program.

The Person

You are an experienced commercial professional with strong contract management, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. You are comfortable working in complex environments, influencing outcomes, and balancing commercial, operational and strategic priorities.

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience in commercial management, procurement or contract management.

- Strong commercial judgement with a pragmatic and strategic approach.

- Experience managing supplier relationships and commercial performance.

- Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

- The ability to identify risks, develop solutions and influence outcomes.

- Qualifications in commercial, legal, supply chain, business or a related discipline (desirable).
