The Role & The Team

Reporting to the Portfolio, Program and Project Control Manager, you will lead the Scheduling & Control function within Airservices’ Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), driving scheduling excellence across a significant transformation portfolio. You will manage and develop a team of schedulers while building robust planning, forecasting and project controls capabilities that improve delivery confidence, schedule predictability and decision-making. Your day will see you partnering with Portfolio Leads, Program and Project Managers, Governance & Assurance, Resource Management, estimating teams and external vendors to establish best-practice scheduling frameworks, maintain schedule integrity, manage dependencies, strengthen governance and provide trusted insights that influence strategic outcomes.

The EPMO is the centre of excellence for project, program and portfolio delivery at Airservices, providing governance, reporting, project controls and specialist delivery support across the organisation's transformation agenda. The Person

You are a collaborative and influential project controls leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys building capability, improving ways of working and driving successful delivery outcomes. You combine strong analytical thinking with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, translating complex schedule information into meaningful insights that support decision-making and organisational success.

The successful applicant will have:

- Demonstrated experience leading project scheduling and controls activities across complex programs or portfolios.

- Proven capability managing and developing scheduling teams while embedding consistent standards, governance and best practices.

- Strong expertise in project scheduling methodologies including Earned Value Management, dependency management, baseline and change control, and resource-loaded scheduling.

- Experience providing forecast, performance and schedule insights to senior stakeholders to support investment and delivery decisions.

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business, project and vendor environments.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, with PMI-SP, AACE PSP or similar professional accreditation highly regarded.
