The Role & The Team
As our Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will own the design, build and enhancement of Airservices’ ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on ITSM, IRM and a strategic roadmap towards further capabilities such as ITOM. You will shape workflow optimisation, strengthen enterprise integrations, and uplift platform governance and performance.
In this role, you will work closely with architects, platform owners, and business stakeholders to shape and develop scalable, maintainable solutions that enable critical national aviation operations. You will be part of the Digital Technology Platforms team within the Technology Enablement group, an engaged, collaborative and high performing team passionate about delivering value and innovation.
- Leading and owning delivery of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, IRM and emerging ITOM capabilities.
- Managing the full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy and sustainment.
- Designing and developing enhancements to core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, SLA).
- Supporting Service Catalogue items, record producers and fulfilment workflows.
- Participating in and leading integration projects (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server integrations).

The Person
You are a proactive technologist who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing design decisions and delivering high‑quality, scalable ServiceNow solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and take pride in being a platform custodian.
The successful applicant will have:
- Strong hands‑on experience designing, developing and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and IRM, with an interest in emerging ITOM capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end development lifecycles including design, build, test, deployment and sustainment.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server integrations and scripting (server‑ and client‑side).
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
- Mandatory: ServiceNow System Administrator + Application Developer certifications; ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.
Desirable:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Exposure to ServiceNow Mobile App Studio, ATF, CSDM/CMDB health
- Experience supporting highly available, 24/7 enterprise platforms
- Strong ability to translate technical content for business audiences
- A collaborative mindset and ability to mentor others
