Join the ARFFS NexGen Program and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects that will shape the future of Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Services across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to nationwide-building initiatives, and other major aerodrome developments.
As an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and infrastructure delivery, you’ll lead complex projects that support the safe and efficient operation of Australia’s airspace. You’ll manage cross-functional teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and ensure delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance—on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including new station builds and runway expansions.
Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk across the full project lifecycle.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with Airservices’ governance, safety, and environmental standards.
Drive project outcomes aligned with strategic objectives and operational excellence.

About You
You’re a results-driven project manager with:
Proven experience in construction project management, ideally in regulated or operational environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
A track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) and/or engineering or construction disciplines.
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project or Project Server.
