Join the ARFFS NexGen Program and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects that will shape the future of Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Services across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to nationwide-building initiatives, and other major aerodrome developments. 

As an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and infrastructure delivery, you’ll lead complex projects that support the safe and efficient operation of Australia’s airspace. You’ll manage cross-functional teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and ensure delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance—on time and within budget. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including new station builds and runway expansions. 

• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk across the full project lifecycle. 

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies. 

• Ensure compliance with Airservices’ governance, safety, and environmental standards. 

• Drive project outcomes aligned with strategic objectives and operational excellence.

About You 

You’re a results-driven project manager with: 

• Proven experience in construction project management, ideally in regulated or operational environments. 

• Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills. 

• A track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget. 

• Qualifications in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) and/or engineering or construction disciplines. 

• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project or Project Server.
