The Role & The Team

You will thrive in this key role working with various teams including the Finance Strategy & Partnering team, Corporate Finance team, Enterprise Strategy & Planning and the Performance & Reporting team. Other stakeholders for you to partner with are the Transformation Office/Project Delivery/Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, outsourced providers, Senior leaders and the Executive stakeholders across the business.

The Person

You’re a skilled communicator and collaborator, capable of working across teams to bring together key business insights. Your ability to manage timelines, maintain records, and support various stakeholders will ensure your success. Your generalist experience will ensure you shine having worked across all parts of finance from shared services, commercial, government, projects and transformation this is the role you have been waiting for!

Key contributions showcase your:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Drive financial reporting and analysis across portfolios, shaping decisions that deliver long-term value and organisational performance.
  • Insightful Program Oversight: Lead robust program and project analysis, ensuring transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial governance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Work directly with senior leadership, supporting decision-making through insightful trend analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Tools, Frameworks & Process Improvement: Design and embed streamlined financial tools, frameworks, and best practices in a matrix environment.
  • Coaching & Capability Building: Champion a culture of commercial acumen by mentoring team members and supporting in-house capability development programs.

You demonstrate strong organizational and record-keeping skills. You are a team player who can build exceptional relationships and always go the extra mile to ensure smooth information flow.

Ideally you possess:

  • A degree in Finance or a related business field.
  • Considerable expertise in a commercial or financial analytics role, with demonstrated experience in data-driven decision support.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive collaborative outcomes.
  • A strategic mindset with a talent for turning data into actionable business insights.
  • Proven success in developing financial systems, reporting frameworks, and process optimisations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you're equally confident in the boardroom and in coaching colleagues.
