  • Fixed term position for 2 years.

The Role & The Team

As the Aerodrome Program Manager, you will be expected to lead and manage this program to achieve the targeted outcomes and benefits.

You will report to the Head of Transformation – Service Delivery Technology and Sustainment and will be responsible for delivering the Aerodrome program outcomes for the organisation. You will apply a standard industry Managing Successful Programmes® (MSP) approach and be accountable for the full program life cycle including designing the outcomes, planning progressive delivery, delivering the capabilities and embedding the outcomes, using your extensive experience in delivering programs and projects and people leadership.

You will be accountable to the Program Board and have overall and ongoing responsibility for the successful day-to-day leadership of the Program in support of the Portfolio Lead.

You will establish and maintain a high-performing and accountable program team; and continue to deliver Airservices record of safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance excellence.

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading large diverse teams in a delivery environment, managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve program outcomes, and delivering programs in a leadership position.
  • Managing Successful Programmes® certification and experience in its application, including a focus on benefits realisation.
  • Proven experience in driving, delivering and sustaining a large-scale Program to achieve outcomes in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement and business acumen, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated values-based leadership, and ability to build organisational capability and culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing geographically diverse program teams.
  • Portfolio, Program and/or Project management qualifications, other than MSP, with supporting experience is desirable.
  • Diversity of experience across the private and public sectors is desirable.

Security Clearance
