The Role & The Team

As Technical Integrator, you will coordinate and integrate system change plans for the delivery of assigned projects to ensure the operational safety and integrity, and the technical integration assurance of the National Airways System (NAS).

You will evaluate and solve technical and operational problems and develop improvements to service delivery within agreed parameters. You will manage complex works which includes work instructions, drawings, configuration data and commissioning requirements whilst also managing complex detailed technical planning within existing frameworks. Other key responsibilities include coordination of technical activities, providing specialist technical advice and support to relevant internal and external stakeholders, and providing continuous improvement identification and deployment within assigned domains.

You will form part of a collaborative Technical Integrations Team ensuring the success of team initiatives and goals. To achieve this, you will liaise closely with the Project Manager and Project Partners to ensure assigned projects are defined on time, to scope, quality and budget.

The Person

To ensure success in this role, you will be self-driven and have a can-do attitude, seeking out ways to ensure targets and deadlines are easily met and outcomes are delivered on. You will be a strong team player with the demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships with customers and stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Diploma of Technology in one or more of the following (or equivalent):
    • Communications Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
  • Demonstrated extensive technical competency and extensive experience in a technical planning, installation, testing and/or fault-finding role
  • Demonstrated ability to make high quality decisions based on relevant research
  • Demonstrated advanced problem-solving skills capable of producing workable solutions in a multidiscipline engineering environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited technical guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, safety, and quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement and supply chain processes
  • Australian Citizenship is required for the Defence Baseline Security Clearance
