The Role & The Team
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex technology projects and programs from planning through to implementation and benefits realisation. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will oversee project governance, financial performance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and delivery outcomes while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

- Lead the successful delivery of strategic technology projects and programs.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and benefits realisation activities.
- Drive project performance, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing project teams and delivery partners.
- Manage project resources, budgets and performance outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with governance, safety, risk and quality frameworks.

The Person
You are a highly experienced project delivery leader with a strong background managing large-scale technology or transformation programs. You excel at navigating complex environments, influencing stakeholders, and leading diverse teams to achieve strategic outcomes. With strong commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style, you are passionate about delivering meaningful business change.
You will bring:
- Project or Program Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent).
- Significant experience delivering large-scale, complex technology, transformation or business-critical programs.
- 10+ years' experience leading complex projects, programs and multidisciplinary teams in large or mission-critical environments.
- Proven expertise in project governance, financial management, risk management, stakeholder engagement and benefits realisation.
- Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed teams, contractors and delivery partners.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, including engagement with senior leaders and executives.
- Sound business acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- A values-based leadership approach and a track record of building high-performing, accountable teams.
- Experience across both public and private sector environments will be highly regarded.
- Eligibility to obtain Australian Government and/or Aviation Security Clearances.
