Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Assurance Specialist Infrastructure to join our Operations Standards and Assurance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure or engineering professional to influence technical assurance, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement across critical aviation infrastructure assets.

The Role & The Team
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in strengthening technical governance, compliance and assurance across Airservices' critical infrastructure assets. Working closely with engineering teams, operations, asset service providers and technical specialists, you will help ensure infrastructure asset management activities meet regulatory requirements, support continuous improvement and contribute to the safety and reliability of Australia's aviation network.
You will:
- Support and strengthen compliance with infrastructure technical standards, CASR Part 171 and internal governance frameworks.
- Maintain and enhance technical compliance registers and assurance mapping.
- Conduct risk-based assurance and compliance reviews, including desktop and field-based assessments.
- Identify risks, recommend improvements and monitor the effectiveness of controls.
- Drive awareness and understanding of technical standards and regulatory changes across the infrastructure environment.
- Contribute to infrastructure competency frameworks and assurance programs.
- Partner with Asset Service Providers, System Technical Advisors and other stakeholders to improve maintenance efficiency and compliance outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement across asset management, technical governance and quality assurance practices.

The Person
You are a collaborative and analytical technical professional who enjoys working across assurance, compliance and asset management. You can build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate complex technical environments and identify opportunities to improve governance, risk management and operational performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- A bachelor-level qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or have demonstrated equivalent experience.
- At least five years' experience in an infrastructure-based technical, engineering or asset management environment.
- Experience working with technical standards, governance frameworks, compliance or assurance activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to be proactive, analytical and comfortable assessing risk and identifying improvement opportunities.
Highly regarded
- Knowledge of, or experience working with, CASR Part 171, Technology Management Systems (TMS) or Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Experience within aviation or another highly regulated, asset-intensive industry.
- Exposure to technical assurance, compliance auditing or engineering governance programs.
