Airservices Australia is seeking an experienced OneSKY Air Traffic Management Service Transition Project Manager to play a critical role in the successful transition from legacy air traffic management systems to the next generation Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS). Working within the nationally significant OneSKY Program, you'll help drive operational readiness and transition activities across Airservices and the Department of Defence.

Reporting to the OneSKY CMATS Transition and Support Program Manager, you will lead operational transition activities that ensure Airservices and Defence are prepared to safely and effectively adopt new systems and capabilities. You'll work across complex stakeholder groups, project teams and operational environments to coordinate transition planning, manage project delivery and support operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the identification and capture of transition requirements across operational and training environments.
- Developing, implementing and managing operational transition plans, schedules and reporting frameworks.
- Leading a team of Operational Transition Specialists to deliver transition outcomes.
- Managing project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting and reporting.
- Coordinating transition activities between Airservices, Defence, vendors and related projects to ensure a consistent and integrated approach.
- Supporting the commissioning and transition of CMATS, ADOT and associated systems.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Airservices, Defence and the broader OneSKY Program.

You are an experienced project manager with a strong understanding of operational environments, stakeholder engagement and complex technology transitions. You thrive in large-scale transformation programs and have a proven ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience within the Airservices Air Traffic Management (ATM) environment, highly regarded.
- Experience managing complex technology or operational transition projects, ideally within aviation or air traffic management environments.
- Strong understanding of operational change and transition processes.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and project management skills.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks and project governance activities.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
