The Role & The Team
As a Data Systems Specialist within the Technology Enablement group, you will be responsible for managing the integrity, configuration and adaptation of operational airways systems that underpin the National Airways System (NAS).
In this role, you will work closely with operational stakeholders, technical specialists and project teams to develop, maintain and implement system data that directly impacts aviation safety, operational efficiency and standardisation. You will analyse change requests, prepare and adapt system data, support training and operational systems, and ensure all changes comply with mandated procedures and regulatory standards.
The team is highly technical, collaborative and safety‑focused, and is proud of the role it plays in delivering reliable, trusted systems that support air traffic services nationally.

The Person
You are analytical, methodical and comfortable working in a safety‑critical operational environment. You take pride in accuracy and quality, enjoy solving complex problems and can adapt effectively to changing priorities.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience working with operational or technical systems in an Air Traffic Control, aviation or similarly regulated environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience managing complex data or system configurations
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into effective system adaptations
- Well‑developed communication skills to engage with a broad range of operational and technical stakeholders
- Experience working within structured procedures, safety frameworks and mandated timelines
Qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Aviation, or equivalent demonstrated experience are highly regarded.
