The Role & The Team

As a Senior Cyber Security Specialist within the OneSKY Program, you will play a critical role in delivering enterprise-wide cyber security solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, delivery partners, and internal stakeholders to implement secure systems, support incident response, and uplift cyber resilience across Airservices.

As the Senior Cyber Security Solutions Specialist, you will be required to provide technical expertise to successfully implement the security solutions capability and work directly on projects including incident/threat detection and response capability.

Reporting to the OneSKY Program Cyber Security Lead, you’ll be part of a collaborative and technically skilled team that takes pride in protecting Australia’s aviation infrastructure. People enjoy working in this team because of its strong culture of innovation, impact, and national significance.

The Person

You’re a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for cyber security. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy translating technical concepts into practical solutions.

The successful applicant will have:

• Demonstrated experience in cyber engineering and solution design
• Strong understanding of IT and OT environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, IRAP or SABSA
• Formal qualifications in ICT, Engineering or Cyber Security (desirable)
• Public cloud security experience focusing on providing technical security advice and assessing security controls for cloud projects 

Security Clearance
