The Role & The Team
As our Built Environment Delivery Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery fast paced minor projects across our Air Traffic Control Centres and Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) facilities. You’ll lead an experienced team coordinating multiple small-to-medium capital and maintenance upgrades across a geographically dispersed and safety-critical portfolio. This role defines and implements end-to-end project plans—covering scope, schedule, quality, resources, cost, risk, stakeholder engagement, and governance—while overseeing financial forecasting, EPMO compliance, and championing a safety-first, delivery-focused culture.
With rapid project cycles, complex stakeholder interfaces, and a unique operational context, this is a rare opportunity to lead meaningful, essential work in one of Australia’s most critical service providers.

What You’ll Bring
This role is ideal for Project/Program Manager with construction experience in minor to medium works. Suited to someone experienced in delivering and leading a team in rolling asset sustainment programs—not large-scale $50M+ builds—it requires strong skills in forecasting, scheduling, and managing end-to-end project delivery.
- Project Management Qualifications: Portfolio, Program, and/or Project management qualifications with relevant experience.
- Project Delivery: Proven ability to drive, deliver, and sustain construction projects to achieve outcomes in complex environments.
- Judgement and Business Acumen: Demonstrated sound judgement and business acumen, with a results-focused approach in a service delivery environment.
- Values-Based Leadership: Ability to build organisational capability and culture through values-based leadership.
- Innovative Solutions: Capacity to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes.
- Strategic Relationships: Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation.
- Geographically Diverse Teams: Experience in coordinating and influencing geographically diverse project teams.
- Project Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering construction project relevant to scope of role.
- Contract Management: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve project outcomes.
- Diverse Experience: Experience across both private and public sectors is desirable.
