The Role & The Team

Join Our Team as an Environment Data and Reporting Specialist. With the launch of our ambitious 2024-2030 Environmental Sustainability Strategy, we are on the lookout for a capable and outcomes oriented person to bring this exciting new reporting and analytics role to life within our business.

 

About the Role:

  • As the Environment Data and Reporting Specialist within the specialist Performance and Insights team, you will manage and deliver performance reporting, analytics and insights dashboards and visualisations for your key stakeholder group/s
  • You will showcase your environment and sustainability data knowledge and management skills as you work with stakeholders across a range of environmental and sustainability initiatives, from assessing the risks and impacts of Climate Change to Aviation through to Contaminated Land remediation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Framework Development: Assist in creating robust reporting frameworks for emissions reductions and climate change adaptation.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to specialist for environmental and sustainability reporting, managing data capture and analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure our environmental reporting meets federal, state, and airport requirements.
  • Data Management: Utilise Microsoft PowerBI and/or ESRI GIS platforms to manage emissions, climate change, and environmental monitoring data.
  • Performance Insights: Provide valuable insights into our environmental and sustainability performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Advisory Role: Advise and support various forums, including Senior Leadership, Executive, Board, and external parties, on environmental and sustainability reporting requirements.

The Person

  • Demonstrated record of environment and sustainability reporting, data management and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and implementing processes and tools to acquit environmental obligations and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with ESG accounting and reporting skills especially with regards to Carbon Accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports from multiple datasets relating to energy and asset management data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and deliver work on schedule, whilst working on multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Experience with Arc GIS, PowerBI, IBM Envizi is essential.
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Environmental Science or Management, Geographic Information Systems, Data Analysis (or equivalent degree) and two years’ experience in a similar discipline.
