The Role & The Team

We are looking for a Transformation Communications Manager who isn’t just about tactical changes - you’ll be the adept at creating communications strategies that spans the entire organization, ensuring our people are connected, engaged, and equipped for success.

Your responsibilities include living our values, engaging our people and bringing to life Airservices purpose (connecting people with their world safely), brand and strategy through awesome communications.

You will play a key role in ensuring that transformation is understood and embraced across the business, working hand-in-hand with leadership, change leads, and communications experts to deliver a unified, impactful communications approach that powers our transformation portfolios.

  • Design and deliver a transformation communications strategy, aligning with organizational goals and supporting change at all levels.
  • Lead engaging communications that connect with our people, ensuring they understand and champion our transformation journey.
  • Collaborate across teams to bring clarity, focus, and strategic alignment to all transformation communications.
  • Act as an advocate for change, helping the organization transition smoothly to new ways of working.

Your ability to amplify thought-provoking insights working closely with senior executives, leaders and stakeholders is second to none.

 

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of transformation communications experience in large, dispersed and operational organizations.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional stakeholder management skills including the ability to listen and apply empathy as stakeholders undergo the transformation experience.
  • The ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo and drive better outcomes for the organisation.
  • High level presentation and communication skills including: expressing opinions and delivering information and key points of an argument clearly and concisely.
  • Set clearly defined objectives, plans activities and projects well in advance, taking account of possible changing circumstance to deliver against deadlines and milestones.
  • Writes and speaks clearly, convincingly and in an engaging manner, avoiding unnecessary use of jargon or complicated language, to engender understanding and meet the needs of the intended audience.
  • Experience with digital content and channels, including an ability to create and maintain websites and/or Sharepoint sites which are the go-to source of news and information.
