The Role & The Team:

As the OneSKY Security Project Manager within the OneSKY Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) Team, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful introduction of OneSKY CMATS Capability Systems, overseeing security activities crucial for end-user readiness. Your day involves collaborating with Joint Project Team colleagues, vendor representatives, and Defence and Airservices stakeholders, contributing to the development and execution of an integrated security strategy. You will manage project scope, budgets, and schedules, coordinate technical reviews, and facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders. As a key member of the team, you'll lead communication activities, providing updates to stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless integration of classified capability systems.

The Person

You are someone with a flexible and adaptable mindset to navigate evolving project requirements and stakeholder dynamics, looking to use a proactive problem-solving approach, anticipating challenges and implementing effective solutions. We are looking for a team player with a collaborative spirit, who will thrive in an environment that values effective communication, safety, and environmental consciousness.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Project Management qualifications (eg.PMP, AIPM, RegPM).
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing security activities within complex transition programs, showcasing an ability to navigate and implement security strategies effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and driving project teams to achieve objectives, contributing to the success of large-scale programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including Joint Project Teams, vendor representatives, and various Defence and Airservices security stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to convey complex security information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience in managing project elements, including scope, budget, and schedule. Familiarity with procurement activities, contract management, and financial forecasting.
  • In-depth knowledge of security policies, regulatory requirements, and a track record of ensuring security outcomes align with technical, operational, and policy standards.

Security Clearance

To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen. The successful applicant must possess the ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification card (ASIC) and a minimum of a Baseline security clearance is required for this position.
