The Role & The Team
As a team player adding immense value to this small but focused team, you will engage with the Project Finance Manager (Enterprise), Central finance team, Transformation Office, Senior leaders and Executive stakeholders across the business.
You are solutions focused ensuring the effective coordination of insightful program portfolio investments and decisions affecting financial and commercial processes.
You will ideally possess the aptitude and financial ability to:

- Operate in an environment requiring multi-tasking and fast priority switching
- Work without clearly defined solutions to issues and adjust activities quickly as required
- Identify, document and communicate complex key financial and operational issues and processes
- Think critically and develop new ways of working to solve delivery and operational transition across the Finance and Office of Deputy Chief Executive Officer group

The Person
With your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as resilience and adaptability to operate effectively, you will excel. Your experience in applying financial principles and strong reporting and research skills in a complex and ever-evolving aviation sector ensures positive outcomes.
Your networking and stakeholder management skills are second to none with your understanding of risk management and the ability to problem solve sometimes complex issues both welcomed and rewarded. Did we mention that your proven planning and change management expertise are strengths and will ensure your ongoing success in this role?
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have a mix of technical capabilities and qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or business-related field
- Demonstrated experience of 10+ years in a commercial or financial management role
- Extensive experience in providing sound financial or commercial analysis and advice across full range of Projects in a complex geographically and professionally diverse organization.
- A proven ability to make commercially astute decisions with incomplete information in dynamic situations and based on insights.
- Experience in reporting and model development and the creation of tools, processes, frameworks and embedding optimised ways of working within a matrix structure.
- Experience working in a large ERP system with controlled workspaces eg SAP and reporting tools such SAP analytics or BI Dashboards.
- Proven experience in successfully coaching and developing leadership capability in the application of commercial accountabilities.
