The Role & The Team

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team working on a business critical role in Cyber Security.  The role is a 24-month fixed term contract with hybrid working available. You can be based from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra.

As a Business Analyst in the Cyber Security Program, you will be part of a Technology Project Delivery team that delivers initiatives such as airport collaboration decision making, establishing capabilities such as a digital twin, digital services platform, cyber security, and IT service management.

This role will provide comprehensive information, analysis and reporting to assist the wider organisation in reaching its objectives.  You will be able to interpret business problems and recommend solutions to those problems.

The Person

Working with a team, communicating with stakeholders and providing clear and concise reporting is critical to this role so you will need strong written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation experience.  In addition we are looking for;

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in business and/or technical analysis in a Portfolio or Program Management Office or large transformation program, across agile and waterfall methodology.
  • Experienced in documenting requirements from user to functional/nonfunctional level.
  • Experienced in preparing statement of work for commercial purposes (procurement and contract)
  • Experience with frameworks such as Six Sigma, Lean Management, PMBOK, PRINCE2, P3M3, Prosci, ITIL and BABOK would be desirable
  • Experience in Information Security Management (ISM) and the Essential Eight cybersecurity strategies (desirable)
  • Experience implementing the ACSC Essential 8 mitigation strategies. (desirable)
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) would be highly regarded.
