The Role & The Team

As a RAMS Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and assessing all aspects of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) analysis and documentation. You will support the Senior RAMS Engineer in delivering RAMS reports, safety cases, and integrated logistics analysis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a background in electrical, electronic, control systems, or ITEE engineering to contribute to a nationally significant and high-impact infrastructure program, whilst working alongside a collaborative and innovative engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct RAMS analysis and modelling to support system design and safety cases

- Perform Safety Risk Assessments (qualitative and quantitative)

- Develop ALARP/SFAIRP arguments

- Conduct Logistic Support Analysis and support O&M readiness

- Verify vendor RAMS reports and models

- Support the implementation of CMMS tools (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow)

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve RAMS objectives

- Ensure compliance with Airservices’ Technology Management Framework and safety standards

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Washington Accord-recognised) in Electrical, Electronic, or ITEE

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a RAMS role

- Proficiency in RAMS tools (e.g. Reliasoft, Isograph, Windchill)

- Experience in developing RAMS reports and conducting assessments such as FMECA, RCM, RBD, FTA

- Familiarity with CMMS design and implementation

- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or eligibility for accreditation is desirable
