Airservices Australia is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to join the OneSKY Australia Program, delivering next-generation Air Traffic Management (ATM) technologies in partnership with the Department of Defence. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant program that will transform Australia's civil and military air traffic management capabilities.

The Role & The Team
Reporting to the ADOT Senior project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex technology projects that support Australia's future Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) and associated modernisation initiatives. You'll work closely with Airservices, Defence, vendors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on safety, governance and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of assigned technology projects within the OneSKY Program.
- Managing project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Developing project documentation and artefacts in line with the P3M Project Management Framework.
- Coordinating internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Driving effective communication, governance and organisational change activities.
- Managing contractor performance and resolving project issues as they arise.
- Building strong relationships across Airservices, Defence and industry partners to support successful delivery.

The Person
You're an experienced project manager with a strong track record delivering complex ICT, engineering or technology projects. You thrive in large-scale, stakeholder-rich environments and are confident managing competing priorities while driving projects to successful outcomes.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent.
- At least five years' experience in ICT or engineering project management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing risks, governance processes and project delivery within complex environments.
- The ability to build productive relationships and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience within aviation, air traffic management or Defence environments will be highly regarded.
