The Role & The Team

Reporting into the Strategic Pipeline Lead, the Reporting Analyst sits within the Strategic Financial Management function — one of four pillars driving long‑term financial sustainability. The team exists to bring clarity, confidence and consistency to how strategic financial initiatives are tracked, measured and assured across the organisation.

In this highly influential role, you will shape how insights are generated, told and trusted. You’ll lead thinking across the finance division on analytics and assurance, design frameworks that enable better decisions, and provide transparent, objective reporting that underpins strategic outcomes.

The Person

You are a sharp, commercially minded analyst who thrives on turning complex data into clear, compelling insight. You’re curious, strategic and confident influencing across a diverse stakeholder group.

You’re comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying gaps and providing unbiased assurance, all while collaborating constructively with program and business leaders.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • A tertiary or recognised qualification in financial analysis, portfolio management, planning and analysis, or a related field
  • Proven experience delivering trusted reporting, analytics and insight in senior or enterprise‑level environments
  • A strong background in finance, commercial, transformation or delivery‑focused teams
  • The ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable outcomes
  • Well‑developed consulting, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence building strong partnerships across diverse professional and organisational settings
  • Experience within portfolio, program or project environments is highly regarded
  • Exposure to both public and private sectors is desirable
