Summary
As Strategic Program Pipeline Lead you will own the end‑to‑end framework that turns ideas into measurable outcomes - governing how strategic initiatives are prioritised, delivered and realised across the organisation.
You’ll bring clarity and confidence to decision‑making by providing independent assurance, transparent reporting and trusted insights on strategic programs and cost‑reduction initiatives. As the business owner of the tools, systems and datasets that underpin the strategic pipeline, you’ll set the standard for how value is tracked and realised.
Beyond governance, you’ll lead continuous improvement and build financial awareness enabling teams to work consistently and effectively.

The Role & The Team
By owning the framework that converts strategic ideas into measurable outcomes you can be instrumental in governing how initiatives are prioritised, delivered and realised across the organisation. You will provide independent assurance, clear reporting and trusted insights on strategic programs and cost‑reduction initiatives, while acting as business owner for the tools, systems and data that enable value realisation.

The Person
You are a credible leader who brings rigour, insight and independence to complex strategic environments. Known for your analytical strength and ability to cut through ambiguity, you operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders—balancing assurance with pragmatism, and insight with action.
You will partner closely with:
Executive Leadership Team and the CEO on strategy delivery, assurance and decision‑making
Senior Leadership Team to drive consistency, value realisation and delivery discipline
Portfolio Leads to govern, prioritise and track strategic initiatives
Finance Division Leadership to strengthen financial insight, controls and performance outcomes
To be successful in this role, you bring:
- Formal qualifications in Portfolio, Program and/or Project Management, and/ or a tertiary or recognised qualification in commercial or business related field supported by extensive practical experience
- Around 15 years’ experience and business acumen across Portfolio, Program and Project Management, including
- 10+ years in leadership roles
- At least 5 years operating at Senior Leadership level
- Demonstrated success in defining, assessing and uplifting project and delivery capability in complex organisations
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, objective insights
- A proven ability to develop innovative solutions, shape thinking and influence outcomes at scale
- Highly developed relationship‑building capability, enabling effective partnerships across diverse stakeholders
- Experience across both public and private sectors (desirable), bringing breadth of perspective and adaptability
- Experience in the aviation sector (desirable)
