Summary

We’re searching for an exceptional Team Leader to help our Integrated Service Operations Centre (ISOC) continue delivering critical technology operations that underpin aviation safety and national service delivery.

The Role & The Team

As our ISOC Team Leader, you will be at the heart of our centralised service operations capability, leading a highly skilled team, maintaining real time situational awareness of mission critical systems, and driving coordination of technology incidents and service disruptions to maximise service availability.

You’ll shape team capability, strengthen service excellence, and support the safe delivery of air navigation services across Australia. Typical hours of work will be between 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday.  As the position is supporting a 24x7 environment there may be a requirement for on-call.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Inspire

- Manage, coach, and develop a team of up to 16 FTE in a fast paced, service focused environment

- Promote positive performance management, professional development and certification uplift

- Build an accountable, engaged team culture aligned to Airservices’ values

Drive Operational Excellence

- Oversee day‑to‑day ISOC operations and service delivery performance

- Maintain operational situational awareness of critical technology systems

- Drive major incident management and service restoration activities

- Support business continuity, resilience, and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure Compliance & Reporting

- Uphold safety, risk, WHS, environmental and regulatory standards

- Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, performance reporting, and adherence to procedures

Collaborate Across the Organisation

- Partner with internal CTEO teams, vendor partners, Defence, BOM, and other industry specific stakeholders

- Coordinate issue resolution across complex multi‑vendor and technical environments

The Person

You’ll bring strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, backed by experience in technology operations or highly regulated, safety focused environments.

You combine clear judgement, adaptability, and an ability to drive outcomes, even in complex or ambiguous technical environments.

Desirable qualifications include:

- Engineering (Radio, Communications, Electrical)

- Computer Science or Information Technology

- Leadership or Management certification

- ITIL v4 Foundations (and preferably Create, Deliver, Support)
