In this position, you’ll lead the performance management and governance of Operational Technologies in either our Airspace or Aerodrome domains, ensuring they are efficient, safe, and delivering value.

This is a key position that will ensure our operational technologies remain fit for purpose and help shape our technology posture into the future.

The Role & The Team

As the Service Operation Lead, you will:

  • Drive the lifecycle planning and delivery of technology and asset strategies
  • Lead service operations to meet performance targets
  • Ensure compliance with Airservices’ Asset and Technology Management Frameworks
  • Collaborate with engineering, service delivery, and tech stakeholders
  • Identify improvement opportunities and guide their implementation
  • Influence decision-making and promote value optimisation

The Person

  • A degree in Engineering (essential)
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering and technology asset management
  • Leadership in a governance or strategic operations role
  • Commercial and analytical mindset, using data to improve outcomes
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience in complex operational and regulatory environments
  • Professional Engineering registration (highly desirable)

 

You will bring efficiency, empathy and strong engagement skills to build proactive relationships across the wider business together with the ability to look at the bigger picture. Your significant experience across governance and asset roles will ensure your success. You also possess a mature understanding and experience in the application of Systems Engineering practices in relation to operational technologies in a complex regulated environment.
