The Role & The Team

The Senior Engagement and Resolution Specialist is responsible for providing complex case coordination, specialist support and dispute resolution services to respond to and support employees through disclosures of bullying, sexual harassment, harassment and other harmful behaviours in the workplace.

You will play a critical role in ensuring that consistent and appropriate processes and mechanisms are in place to foster a culture of psychological safety; free of inappropriate behaviour while also facilitating early intervention and proactive responses designed to build a positive people centred culture within the organisation.

The Senior Engagement and Resolution Specialist will play an important part in supporting the organisation’s culture by building trust and confidence in the way harmful behaviours are responded to as well as supporting the organisation to develop and enhance capabilities that support positive culture reform.

The Person

  • Mandatory - Tertiary qualifications in a behavioural sciences, social sciences or human resources discipline.
  • Significant demonstratable experience in the coordination of cases and complaints of a routine and complex nature related to bullying and harassment, sexual misconduct, discrimination and other harmful workplace behaviours. 
  • Experience in the facilitation of programs across a range of mediums focussed on proactively prevent harmful behavioural issues occurring and promote positive leadership and peer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to be resilient, proactive and effectively in a highly autonomous and challenging work environment.
  • Highly developed and demonstratable skills in:
    • The facilitation and delivery of services related to challenging, confronting and often traumatic behaviour, within a heavily regulated operational and statutory environment;
    • The collection, evaluation, analysis and reporting of data (including sensitive and/or confidential information);
    • Interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation
    • Written communication and report writing, with a particular focus on summarising multiple information sources and data into concise and succinct summaries.
    • Conflict management with a particular focus on the ability to delivery productive outcomes with challenging and adversarial stakeholders.
    • Managing concurrent and competing workloads.
    • Managing diverse and complex stakeholder relationships.
