The Role & The Team 

Join our Finance & Performance division and contribute to driving financial and commercial excellence across Airservices. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you’ll support end-to-end financial services for key portfolios, working closely with Finance Business Partners to deliver insights, guide decision-making, and enhance organisational performance. 

You’ll provide strategic commercial advice, support financial change initiatives aligned to business goals, and help build commercial capability across the team and wider organisation. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while adding real value in a nationally significant organisation. 

Your will be responsible for but not limited to: 

• Analyse key cost drivers and use data insights to support smarter investment decisions. 

• Identify and develop cost-saving and risk-reducing strategies. 

• Provide commercial support to help manage and reduce portfolio costs. 

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on commercial activities for stakeholders. 

• Contribute to financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting tasks.

The Person 

• Extensive experience in providing sound financial and commercial analysis and advice across full range of strategic business matters in a complex geographically and professionally diverse organisation.  

• A proven ability to make commercially astute decisions with incomplete information in dynamic situations and based on insights.  

• Experience in leveraging insights from across the organisation when making decisions.  

• Proven experience in developing and driving change initiatives aligned to business strategy.  

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to achieve results.  

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders.  

• Proven experience in successfully coaching and developing leadership capability in the application of commercial accountabilities.  

 Qualifications  

•  A tertiary qualification in Finance or another business-related field.  

• 7+ years’ experience in a commercial or financial management role
