Are you passionate about aviation and data accuracy? Airservices Australia is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled AIS Specialist – IAIP to join our high-performing Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) team. This is a Safety Sensitive Aviation Activity role, contributing directly to the safe and efficient operation of Australia’s airspace.

The Role & The Team

As an AIS Specialist, you will be responsible for the production and publication of the Australian Integrated Aeronautical Information Package (IAIP). You’ll ensure all aeronautical data and information meet ICAO, ISO, CASA, and Airservices standards, supporting safe and compliant aviation operations.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and verify high volumes of aeronautical data from various sources.

- Coordinate IAIP product production and delivery within strict timeframes.

- Ensure compliance with CASR Part 175 and other regulatory standards.

- Provide support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and future data-centric initiatives.

- Maintain effective working relationships and deliver high-quality customer service.

The Person

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented aviation professional with a strong understanding of aeronautical information management. They have:

- Tertiary qualifications in aviation or related discipline, or 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong time management skills in high-pressure environments.

- Knowledge of aeronautical terminology (CASA BAK level).

- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and ETL tools (e.g., FME).

- Understanding of PANS-OPS and CASR Parts 139, 173, and 175.

- Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder engagement.
