The Role & The Team
As a Senior Engineering Specialist (Electrical), you will provide technical leadership across the design, delivery, testing and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure projects. Partnering with project managers, contractors and operational stakeholders, you will ensure systems are safe, compliant and fit for purpose throughout the project lifecycle.
Joining the Built Environment Project Engineering team, you'll contribute to nationally significant infrastructure projects that support Airservices' operational facilities across Australia. This is an opportunity to influence project outcomes, provide specialist technical advice and mentor engineers within a collaborative and high-performing team environment

The Person
You are a senior Electrical Engineer with strong project delivery experience and the ability to lead technical outcomes within complex infrastructure environments. You enjoy working collaboratively, influencing stakeholders and providing technical guidance across multidisciplinary teams.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex electrical infrastructure, facilities or building services projects.
- Experience preparing and reviewing electrical designs, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, integration and deployment of electrical systems.
- Proven coaching, mentoring and technical leadership experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- RPEQ or RPEV registration, or the ability to obtain registration.
Highly Regarded
- Experience working within critical infrastructure, aviation, utilities, transport or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NCC requirements, AS/NZS 3000 and relevant Australian Standards.
