The Role & The Team

As Head of EPMO, you’ll lead the enterprise-wide portfolio management function and own the Portfolio, Program, and Project Management (P3M) Framework. You’ll define, implement, and continuously improve the systems and ways of working that underpin our success.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll provide expert capability and resources to ensure consistency and excellence across all portfolios, programs, and projects. Your mission: drive delivery discipline, champion transparency, and provide unbiased insights that empower decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and evolving the organisation’s P3M framework, standards, and tools.
• Managing project systems and analytics to unlock business value.
• Building strong partnerships with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to ensure EPMO delivers real impact.
• Driving enterprise governance across safety, risk, compliance, and environmental standards.

The Person

You’re a seasoned leader with:

• 15+ years in Portfolio, Program, and Project Management.
• 10+ years in leadership, including 5+ years at senior level.
• A proven ability to influence, inspire, and build trust at all levels.
• Expertise in frameworks, methodologies, and capability uplift in complex environments.
• Qualifications in Portfolio, Program, and/or Project Management.
  Experience in government-owned enterprises? That’s a bonus.
