The Role and the Team

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and opportunities, applying analytical techniques to define needs and inform executive decision-making. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the current state of service delivery operations within Airservices, including existing technology profiles, staffing and operational risks and opportunities.  
  • Define, evaluate and validate potential options (including as a result of cost increases), dependencies and strategic implications with key stakeholder, to address identified needs and risks, and communicate these through presentation of information and data to senior decision-makers. 

This is a senior leadership role and will be part of the Capital Portfolio Management team leadership group.

The Person

With your ability to communicate with confidence and influence decisions at all levels you are seen as the “go to person”. Your ability to combine technical expertise with strategic thinking makes you a trusted advisor.

What You Will Bring

  • 10 years + experience in strategic planning leading initiative development and contributing towards the creation and realisation of annual capital investment plans. 
  • Financial acumen and experience in investment prioritisation.  
  • Experience from ideation through to delivery to understand the nuances required to build robust Investment Cases.  
  • Exposure to large infrastructure, technology and construction projects. 

Experience: 5 to 10+ years experience in investment management and/or service/operation planning and/or infrastructure project managements and/or infrastructure/service optioneering/value engineering.

Skills: Expertise in stakeholder management, optioneering/problem solving and strong communication. 

Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, IT/Information Management, and/or equivalent experience in ATC or major infrastructure.

Attributes: Analytical mindset, adaptability, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
