The Role & The Team

Join us at Airservices, where the aviation industry is undergoing major transformative change. As a Project Manager within Project Delivery, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation, working within the project management resource pool and leading the way in our transformational journey over the next five to ten years.

You will have experience in project management, people leadership, and working with industry frameworks and be accountable for the full project life cycle, from planning to execution and closing out projects. You will apply your civil construction knowledge, experience, and strong project management discipline to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet scope and quality requirements. You will be key in delivering outcomes and enabling benefits related to the organisation's environmental and strategic objectives.

We have a current opportunity within our Construction Project Delivery team to lead and deliver projects that support the national PFAS (Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) Management Program. You will be integral to the ongoing implementation of the national PFAS Management Program, supporting the delivery of minor works and major projects across multiple sites.

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience delivering Projects in a leadership position.
  • Civil engineering qualifications would be highly regarded, as well as demonstrated experience on major civil and remediation projects.
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve project outcomes.
  • Program, portfolio and project management qualifications and the proven ability to drive, deliver and sustain projects in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management with sound judgement and business acumen with a focus on the service delivery environment.
  • Sound knowledge of the requirements to ensure environmental compliance and conformance with land remediation.
