The Role & The Team
The Service Management and ISOC Program is implementing ITSM across its aviation and enterprise systems, adopting a common framework which will support ‘as a service’ vendor arrangements for its critical systems. The Program will also be relocating the current Technical Operations Centres (which monitor and support mission critical systems) to new facilities, modernising the working environment and monitoring systems.
As the Service Management and ISOC Program Manager reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering Program outcomes for the organisation. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a multi-discipline team from across the Airservices value chain, in conjunction with external suppliers and contractors, to deliver the Service Management and ISOC Program on time and within budget.
This role will require significant Executive leadership communication and skills to develop program strategy, insights and planning, aligned to the organisational strategic objectives. Strong stakeholder management skills will be essential to ensure timely and successful engagement of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead a team to define an integrated Program delivery plan including, but not limited to, benefits maps, benefits profiles, strategies, risk, issues and opportunities, delivery plans, benefits realisations plans, stakeholder engagement and communications plan, and assurance plans.
- Maintain the integrated Program delivery plan and baseline, monitor actual progress and cost to date and forecast progress and expenditure in future tranches.
- In concert with SROs, Head of Project Delivery, Delivery Leads and Project Managers, shape the project needs of the program and secure appropriate capability to deliver.
- Drive overall performance of the Program and subordinate projects, including monitoring and reporting of stakeholder management, risk and issue management and benefits realisation.
- Promote a learning organisation through the ongoing continuous improvement and education of key stakeholders.
- Manage the Program within assigned delegations and agreed quality and risk parameters.
- Oversee and manage Program budget and performance targets, including the promotion of an efficient and cost-conscious culture across Project Delivery.

The Person
- Program and/or Project management qualifications, with supporting experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain large-scale Program to achieve outcomes in a complex environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ITSM, including ITIL v4
- Demonstrated sound judgement and business acumen, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment
- Demonstrated values-based leadership, and ability to build organisational capability and culture
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing geographically diverse program teams
- Minimum 10 years experience in:
- Leading large diverse teams in a delivery environment
- Managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve program and project outcomes
- Delivering Programs in a leadership position
- Diversity of experience across the private and public sectors is desirable.
