The Role & The Team

We are continuing to embed a high performing supportive and valued Talent Acquisition team, where we will focus on delivering highly valued recruitment solutions to a varied range of stakeholders. You’ll be able to draw on your previous experience as a trusted adviser in a fast paced Talent Acquisition environment and be rewarded by working with a range of stakeholders across all areas of the Airservices business.

Rest assured, you will be joining a great team at an exciting time of growth and you will be instrumental in providing advice and guidance in the implementation of BAU and key project recruitment support.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor you will:

  • Manage and lead the delivery of recruitment services in designated portfolios or business units including stakeholder management
  • Build and maintain the activity required to ensure operational recruitment needs are delivered on time with a “win-win” for candidates, Hiring Managers and their teams and the wider organisation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Business/Hiring Managers, people and culture teams, physical testing providers, psychometric testing suppliers, Agencies (when required) and other related industry networks
  • Coach Business/Hiring Managers through best practice recruitment processes, candidate care initiatives and ongoing quality recruitment all the while proudly promoting our diversity initiatives
  • Achieve and maintain high candidate service levels and coach and mentor Coordinators through best practice candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain a commercial knowledge of business issues, recruitment and market trends as well as the expertise needed to make sound recruitment recommendations to meet business needs
  • Provide candidate care for identified talent pools (internal and external) and recognise and capture candidates for future campaigns
  • Identify additional sourcing channels and career fair opportunities (to be supported by Coordinators)

Part of your charter is to provide advice on best practice selection and assessment solutions including (but certainly not limited to):

  • Development of sourcing and assessment plans and processes – end – end recruitment
  • Perform database searches and sourcing techniques (Boolean is in your recruitment DNA) to identify and assess potential candidates against specified criteria
  • Preparation and finalisation of job advertisements seeking the support of coordinators as required
  • Advise on most suitable psychometric testing where applicable; and
  • Liaison with external suppliers as required, ensuring governance of recruitment agencies

The Person

  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted adviser in an evolving Talent Acquisition environment hiring a variety of corporate level and operational roles
  • A can-do attitude where you are solution focused and embrace change
  • Experience using Page Up is highly desirable, however if you are tech savvy your experience with other ATS/CRM’s will be transferrable
  • A passion for ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify additional information required or be proactive with questions to ask to obtain missing information to ensure governance of recruitment processes
  • The ability to develop innovative hiring solutions, identifying opportunities to attract suitable applicants and engage them throughout the process
  • The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with open communication and quickly establish and maintain strong and credible internal and external connections
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through at all points of the hiring process
