The Role & The Team

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support with the Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting and Air Traffic Control recruitment which will involve

  • Manage recruitment related inboxes with a customer centric focus on your engagement with internal and external candidates, drawing on your insights from this inbox management and identifying opportunities for increased proactive communication or process improvement
  • Assessment centre activity including the scheduling of assessment centres, administrative tasks in preparing for assessment centres, attending sessions
  • Reference checking – utilising our online reference checking tool X-Ref
  • Assist with providing feedback to candidates who are not successful in a recruitment process
  • Support checking minimum requirements for candidate applications as they progress
  • Ensure work is accurate and meets quality standards
  • Support with the development and posting of job advertisements including development of online application forms
  • Assist with internal and external event management – e.g. Assessment Centres, Careers Fairs
  • Setting up and scheduling interviews
  • System reporting across volume recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • While this position has a focus on volume recruitment, we are seeking someone who will proactively reach out to others across the Talent Acquisition team to see where they may need support when time permits

The Person

  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted administrator in fast paced environment
  • A can-do attitude where you are solution focused and embrace change
  • Experience using Page Up is highly desirable, however if you are tech savvy your experience with others ATSs will be transferrable
  • A passion for ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify additional information required or questions to ask to obtain missing information to ensure governance of recruitment processes, strategic thinking will be key to meet the pace of the team.
  • The ability to come up with innovative hiring solutions, identifying opportunities to attract suitable applicants and engage them throughout the process where required.
  • The ability to provide detailed updated to team members you are supporting with recruitment processes to set them up for success with conversations with Hiring Managers and stakeholders.
  • A working style where you pre-empt questions or challenges and suggest solutions.
