The Role & The Team
You will provide a proactive, consistent and responsive approach to achieving value for money from third party spend and driving greater supplier performance. You will proactively support, manage, and undertake procurement activities, which are compliant with established policies and procedures that will support implementation of procurement initiatives that deliver value for money outcomes.
You will undertake early market engagement, manage procurement strategies ensuring successful negotiation and execution, and proactively identify and deliver on business improvement activities and opportunities.
You will foster a culture of continuous improvement within your immediate team and business partner network and proactively engage with internal stakeholders to deliver short, medium and long-term strategic objectives, contributing to the development and achievement of the Airservices’ strategy.

The Person
You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in leading cross function teams to achieve commercial outcomes with a specific focus on supplier performance to drive an effective service delivery phase within the sourcing lifecycle.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experince working in a similar role within a complex, geographically and professionally diverse organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability in running cross-functional projects and teams.
- The ability to influence, communicate and negotiate and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Able to demonstrate a passion for delivering commercially astute outcomes.
- Excellent customer service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, with a motivated and enthusiastic attitude to problem solving.
- Experience of procurement metrics to monitor and drive continuous improvement and value across the full procurement lifecycle.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply organisational frameworks and policies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess expenditure trends and analyse lifecycle costs.
