The Role & The Team:

The role of the Enterprise Architect, Application & Integration will collaborate with diverse stakeholders and colleagues to define, refine and document Airservices application and integration domain architecture.

This role is responsible for the development of application and integration strategies to support Airservices’ strategic direction and is responsible for bringing processes and applications together to form a view of the integrated application landscape.

You will provide leadership in applications and integration architecture domains to ensure effective governance and implementation of agreed architectures.

As a key part of the Enterprise Architecture charter your leadership and development of comprehensive enterprise architecture artefacts within the applications and integration domains will ensure your success.

The Person

You will have excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and will strive working across both senior business and technical levels. Your energy and enthusiasm will see you working with the program or project teams to ensure effective realisation of the agreed applications and integration architectures.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a senior architect covering application and integration domains in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in integration domain expertise with knowledge of modern integration techniques, covering API’s, event streams, messaging, and queuing, to deliver standards, reference architectures, patterns, target and transition states and roadmaps.
  • Experience in architectural and software design patterns, and contemporary technologies, including cloud platforms and services, microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Experience in application portfolio rationalisation in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of architecture governance practices.
  • Enterprise Architecture certification such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
  • An Information Technology degree from an Australian Tertiary Institution or equivalent.
