The Role & Team
Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for uncovering insights and improving project performance? Join our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) as a Performance Analyst and play a key role in shaping data-informed decision-making across the organisation.
The EPMO was established to enhance project governance, oversight, and delivery capability. Within it, the Reporting and Performance Analysis team provides critical insights, performance monitoring, and data-driven support to improve project outcomes. As a Performance Analyst, you will work closely with the team to develop fit-for-purpose reporting, identify key trends, and communicate actionable insights to project stakeholders. Your contributions will drive transparency, continuous improvement, and project success.

The Person
We are looking for an analytical thinker with strong technical data skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are confident in translating complex data into meaningful insights that drive action. You enjoy really getting into the nitty gritty; identifying and escalating data quality issues, discrepancies between reports, and any changes month-to-month. Your ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with project teams will be key to your success in this role. If you enjoy problem-solving, improving reporting processes, and contributing to a high-performing team, we want to hear from you!
Skills and Background
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring in a project, program, or business environment.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (you will be required to use Power BI in this role) and data manipulation tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights for various stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
