The Role & The Team 

Are you ready to drive transformation and efficiency in a high-impact role? As the Purchase to Pay Specialist within Shared Services, you will own and enhance the end-to-end purchase to pay function, ensuring integrity, compliance, and strategic alignment with Airservices Australia's broader goals. 

  • Direct and align activities and improvements across the Purchase to Pay function and team. 

  • Ensure compliance with legislation, governance, and procurement policies. 

  • Standardise purchasing behaviours and improve supplier performance. 

  • Work with Shared Services Improvement to drive automation and efficiency. 

  • Develop training materials and lead capability-building initiatives

The Person 

  • A proven subject matter expert in procure-to-pay, with knowledge of multiple systems. 

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in interpreting purchase-to-pay data, trends, and processes.  

  • Effective communicator with proven influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.  

  • Experience in Shared Services or similar environments.  

  • Skilled in exception/issues management and problem-solving in ambiguous situations.  

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.  

  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive attitude to problem-solving.  

  • Proven ability to drive change, embrace technology, and improve processes.  

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or related field (desirable).
