The Role & The Team

As a Senior Revenue Economist, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership in developing and implementing key revenue opportunities across the organization. You will be responsible for creating robust economic and financial models for pricing and revenue, analysing data to explore alternative revenue strategies, and assessing the current pricing structure.

This role demands exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills as you will communicate findings and recommendations clearly to a variety of stakeholders, including the ACCC, through presentations and workshops. You will also lead the successful implementation of approved revenue opportunities and manage projects with meticulous attention to detail.

You will deliver insightful reporting to the Regulatory Pricing Manager and the Finance leadership team, driving value for optimal pricing and revenue outcomes. Leading the improvement of pricing processes and frameworks, you will champion a collaborative approach to developing and implementing new revenue opportunities.

This role sits within the Finance & Performance division and reports to the Regulatory Pricing Manager.

The Person

The successful candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, preferably in economics or finance, with 15+ years of experience in an economic management role.
  • Proficient in economic modelling and forecasting, with strong research, analysis, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong reporting, project management, and planning skills, with solid business acumen.
