About Us:

Airservices Australia, a government-owned entity, oversees the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world’s airspace and provides Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting services at Australia’s busiest airports.

The Exciting Opportunity:

Aviation Fire Fighter- Safeguard aircraft passengers and crew.

Duties

• Provide critical rescue and first-aid services
• Offer expert fire safety advice
• Educate on firefighting techniques
• Tackle emergencies, from aircraft incidents to fires
• Embrace both physical and mental challenges, with a roster system that ensures a healthy work-life balance.

Location:

We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team at our Broome Station.

Earn While You Learn:

Training Program (RC103)

Duration:15 weeks, kicking off in January 2025

Location: Melbourne

Perks: Paid training with accommodation provided

Salary

During Training: $48,622 per annum plus superannuation

Post-Qualification: $68,094 per annum plus superannuation

Certification

PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations)

Awarded by our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5168)

Entry Standards & Minimum Requirements

All applicants must submit a formal online application and meet the minimum entry standards.

Applicants must also attend a physical aptitude test and assessment centre in Perth during the recruitment process.
