The Role & The Team

The position works with a team of specialists to identify and manage requirements, approaches and risks associated to the delivery of the Technology management. This position will manage a team of experts who deliver the technical Standards portfolio.  You will deliver processes, controls and manage risk in compliance with relevant national and state legislation and Airservices policies and procedures associated to technology management.The role involves working collaboratively across the organization to oversee technical standards and ensure compliance across change programs and business operations. Its aim is to achieve efficiencies and desired business outcomes.

Key functions of the role include developing, managing, and maintaining the Technology Management System. Leading and supporting a team of experts, the role oversees CASR Part 171 regulatory reform, improvements, and compliance controls and mechanisms. It manages technology management assurance and investigation programs to identify control enhancements and insights. Moreover, the role effectively manages and communicates technology risks at the enterprise, functional, and operational levels. You will collaboratively manage technology standards processes and protocols while remaining agile and responsive to changing demands.

The Person

We are looking for an effective leader with the ability to manage and develop a team of specialists supportive of service provision and project delivery.  You will have;

  • Business acumen and customer services focus, with proven abilities to develop, implement and champion strategic improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including a strong capacity to communicate with influence to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate, research, analyse and report conclusions and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of key contemporary technology standards and best practices
  • Ability to network, influence, negotiate and liaise with a variety of stakeholders including ability to work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure desire outcomes achieved.
