Airservices is a government owned organisation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry.
Each year we manage over four million aircraft movements carrying more than 156 million passengers, providing air navigation services across 11 per cent of the world’s airspace, and in 2017-18 we generated $1.08 billion revenue.
As a Senior Internal Auditor you will execute internal audits as defined by the annual Audit Plan to provide assurance services that aligns to the delivery of services to internal customers and to the Airservices strategy.
You will apply a co-operative audit approach with our internal customers with high levels of engagement with senior leadership throughout the audit lifecycle.
We are well supported by the Board Audit & Risk Committee, the CEO, and the Executive team with the Chief Internal Auditor reporting directly to the CEO.
You will bring skills that complement the existing team by being a genuine team player who shares their knowledge, skills and experience. You will contribute to innovation of the internal audit process by identifying new ways of working and how they can be applied to Internal Audit. You will be flexible in your thinking and open to new ideas in how audits are performed. You will be a curious person who doesn’t audit from your desk.

Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in internal audit with either generalist or specialist skill
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Ability to apply critical thinking, risk management, control framework and root cause analysis in performing audits
- Ability to deliver insightful audits results and communicate them clearly
- Membership of a relevant professional body that demonstrates commitment to your chosen profession
- Available to travel interstate periodically
