Airservices has two major operating centres in Melbourne and Brisbane and a corporate office in Canberra. We operate 29 air traffic control towers at international and regional airports, and provide aviation rescue fire fighting services at 26 Australian airports.
As the Enterprise Architect – Information within the Technology Strategy & Architecture team, you are accountable for proactively and holistically leading and supporting activities to create, maintain and manage the enterprise information architecture models and their lower level components. You will be required to interpret, use and apply information to inform a range of business activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of information services and related systems/assets.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that the respective information domain business, application, data/information and technology perspectives are in line with the organisations technology and governance strategies, policies and standards. This includes appropriate considerations for security and quality.
With demonstrated high level EA – Information domain specific knowledge and experience, you are adaptable and effective in applying your strong analytical and conceptual skills to deliver high quality outcomes. You are adept at facilitating, influencing and negotiating and can quickly develop trust and effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation. You are a strategic thinker who is comfortable in dealing with complexity and ambiguity to deliver targeted and long-term business outcomes.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and experience in EA – Information domain specific field to deliver high quality artefacts, advice and support
- Highly developed facilitation and communication skills including a strong capacity to translate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience in effectively managing self, others and resources to deliver desired outcomes
- Qualifications and/or experience in enterprise architecture and relevant technical fields
